1. How do I care for my cake?
    Your cake is best cared for by refrigeration until an hour before served. Cupcakes are best eaten the day received. Please do not leave in hot temperatures. It could result in your buttercream melting off your cake.
  2. How long will my cake stay fresh?
    Cupcakes are best eaten the day of, but they are still great the next day.
    Cake should be consumed within 4 days.
  3. Do you ship cakes?
    At this time, Cake Me With You is operating under the Cottage Food Law's in Florida and it prohibits shipping any cake products.
  4. Do your products contain allergens?
    Depending on what kind of cake you purchase, there can be many things inside your cake that can produce an allergic reaction. Our products may contain wheat, soy, nut, dairy, and is high sugar content (What other way would you want your cake?!).
  5. Do you have a store front?
    Complicated answer at this time, but no. As of today, May 11, 2017, we do not. We are working on this diligently and are trying to find a place in the city of Tallahassee that our clients can come speak directly with us.
  6. Why don't you serve cream cheese frosting or fruit fillings?
    Again, working under the Cottage Food Law in Florida, it prohibits the sale of any refrigerated items. These laws are in place to protect you and to protect Cake Me With You.
  7. What is the Florida Cottage Food Law?
    They are policies written by the Department of Agriculture to help protect small businesses who wish to run a bakery type atmosphere from their home without the pains and expense of having a commercial kitchen. Each cake is baked right from the home of Cake Me With You's, Leanna Brown. 
  8. How does payment work?
    Easy peasy, visit our Investment page here, to see our prices. We are as transparent as possible, and we are so proud of that! Once you have decided you'd like to book with us, we draw up a contract, and an invoice for payment of at least 50% nonrefundable retainer. This can be paid with credit or cash.
  9. Do you offer payment plans?
    Our payment plan is pretty simple. 50% nonrefundable retainer is due upon booking your date with us. The other half of your balance can be paid in any increment, as long as it's completely paid off 14 days before your event. We hope this helps with planning.
  10. Do you offer cake tastings?
    Yes, we do! We offer cake tastings for all of our wedding clients. Please click here to schedule a cake tasting with us! We love to show off our amazing cakes to our clients and strongly encourage cake tastings for weddings.
  11. Do you only do wedding cakes?
    As of January 1, 2017, Cake Me With You no longer offers birthday cakes. Our passion is ultimately, wedding cakes. We want to take good care of our clients and that starts with not spreading ourselves too thin. We want to remain open and available to our clients to ensure 100% satisfaction. We are sad to see our custom birthday cakes go, but this business was founded on passion and love. We want to stay true to that to the best of our ability.
